We do not sell user personal information.
Gestion de Personnel Alliance limits the collection, use, access, and disclosure of personal information to what is reasonably necessary for the purposes identified in this Policy, based on role, responsibility, assignment, function, operational need, and legitimate business requirement. Users should not submit unnecessary sensitive information, information that is not requested, or information belonging to another person unless specifically authorized or required for a legitimate business, employment, staffing, payroll, client, legal, CNESST, safety, or compliance purpose.
8. Third-Party Technology Provider
Our application is supported by a third-party technology provider that may host, process, store, secure, transmit, or provide technical support for personal information on our behalf. The provider is authorized to process personal information only as required to provide and maintain the application and related services. Gestion de Personnel Alliance remains responsible for the personal information under its control and takes reasonable steps to require appropriate contractual, confidentiality, security, access, retention, incident-management, return, deletion, and restricted-use safeguards from its service providers. Service providers are expected to protect personal information, use it only for authorized purposes, restrict access to authorized personnel, notify Gestion de Personnel Alliance of relevant confidentiality or security incidents, and return, delete, anonymize, or securely dispose of information when required by contract, law, or operational need. Users acknowledge that access to and use of the application may also be subject to technical requirements, availability, security controls, and updates managed by the provider.
9. Application Access, Credentials, and Activity Logs
Gestion de Personnel Alliance may collect, monitor, review, audit, preserve, and use application activity logs, including login activity, access dates and times, submitted information, document uploads, confirmations, changes, application actions, failed login attempts, IP address, device or browser information, and other security or audit records. These logs may be used for privacy, security, authentication, verification, troubleshooting, audit, compliance, recordkeeping, incident investigation, payroll, staffing, client, CNESST, operational, legal, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, policy enforcement, and business protection purposes.
10. User Responsibilities and Account Security
Users are responsible for keeping their login credentials confidential, using the application only for authorized purposes, providing accurate and lawful information, promptly updating changes, and immediately reporting suspected unauthorized access, errors, lost devices, misuse, or security concerns. Users must not share account access, submit false or misleading information, upload documents that do not belong to them, attempt to access another user’s information, interfere with the application, or use the application in a manner that violates Gestion de Personnel Alliance policies, client requirements, applicable law, or security rules. Gestion de Personnel Alliance may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the application where necessary to protect personal information, application security, users, clients, workers, legal compliance, payroll, assignments, investigations, or business operations.
Users are responsible for the security of their own devices, networks, passwords, account access, and application settings. Gestion de Personnel Alliance is not responsible for privacy or security risks, loss, unauthorized access, errors, delays, incomplete submissions, or failed communications caused by a user’s shared credentials, weak password, unsecured network, lost or shared device, outdated device or application, disabled security settings, malware, unauthorized applications, jailbroken or rooted device, or failure to follow security instructions.
11. Application Communications and Notifications
Gestion de Personnel Alliance may use the application and related communication channels to send or receive assignment offers, schedule confirmations, availability requests, reminders, onboarding instructions, document requests, attendance or timekeeping notices, incident follow-ups, payroll-related communications, privacy notices, security alerts, and other operational messages. Communications may be sent through the application, email, SMS/text message, telephone, or other approved business channels. Contact information provided through the application may be used for these communication purposes.
12. Device Permissions, Cookies, Analytics, and Technical Tools
Depending on the features used, the application may request access to device functions or technical information, such as camera access for document uploads, notifications for operational messages, location-related information where required for attendance, timekeeping, worksite confirmation, transportation, safety, fraud prevention, or assignment management, and application analytics or diagnostic information used to improve reliability, security, performance, troubleshooting, and user support. Where optional permissions are available, users may manage them through their device or application settings; however, disabling required permissions or technical functions may limit access to certain services, prevent completion of onboarding or timekeeping steps, or affect assignment, payroll, compliance, communication, or operational processes.
Certain information, documents, permissions, confirmations, or technical functions may be mandatory to access or complete specific application services, including onboarding, eligibility verification, timekeeping, attendance, assignment confirmation, payroll administration, client requirements, safety procedures, communications, compliance, or recordkeeping. Other information or permissions may be optional depending on the feature. If a user disables, refuses, withdraws, or fails to provide required information, documents, permissions, confirmations, or technical functions, Gestion de Personnel Alliance may be unable to provide or continue certain services, process records, confirm eligibility, administer payroll, communicate effectively, offer assignments, maintain access, or satisfy operational, client, legal, CNESST, or compliance requirements.
13. Application Functionality and Automated Assistance
The application may assist Gestion de Personnel Alliance with organizing user information, identifying incomplete records, managing availability, supporting assignment coordination, sending reminders, or flagging eligibility or compliance items. Final employment, assignment, eligibility, or staffing decisions are not made solely by automated processing unless users are informed where required by law. The application may collect technical information necessary for login, security, functionality, troubleshooting, audit, performance, privacy compliance, and administration purposes.
Use of the application, account creation, profile completion, document submission, availability confirmation, assignment response, electronic acceptance, or continued access to the application does not guarantee employment, continued employment, hours of work, work schedules, assignment offers, client acceptance, assignment duration, transportation, payroll eligibility without proper records, or continued access to services. Gestion de Personnel Alliance may modify, pause, cancel, substitute, or decline assignments and may restrict app access where necessary for business, client, legal, compliance, safety, payroll, attendance, eligibility, performance, operational, or staffing reasons.
14. Legal Requests, Investigations, and Protection of Rights
Gestion de Personnel Alliance may collect, use, preserve, review, or disclose personal information where reasonably necessary to respond to lawful requests, subpoenas, regulatory inquiries, audits, inspections, claims, complaints, workplace incidents, occupational health and safety matters, CNESST matters, payroll or tax requirements, client disputes, fraud prevention, security events, internal investigations, contract enforcement, debt recovery, legal proceedings, or to protect the rights, property, safety, personnel, clients, users, systems, application, and legitimate business interests of Gestion de Personnel Alliance and its affiliates, clients, representatives, and service providers.
Before allowing personal information to be communicated, stored, accessed, or processed outside Quebec where required, Gestion de Personnel Alliance may assess applicable privacy-related risks, including the sensitivity of the information, the purposes of processing, the safeguards in place, the service provider’s obligations, the jurisdictions involved, and the potential impact on users. Cross-border processing may proceed where Gestion de Personnel Alliance determines that appropriate protections are in place and the processing is necessary for legitimate business, staffing, employment, payroll, client, compliance, technology, security, or operational purposes.
15. Confidentiality and Security Measures
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity, amount, use, and storage method of the personal information to protect it against unauthorized access, loss, theft, misuse, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Access to information in our application is limited to authorized personnel and service providers who require it for legitimate business, privacy, security, compliance, staffing, payroll, client, CNESST, or operational purposes. No application can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and users should promptly notify Gestion de Personnel Alliance of any suspected unauthorized access, error, or security concern involving their account or personal information.
16. Availability, Updates, and No Guarantee of Continuous Access
The application may be updated, modified, suspended, interrupted, restricted, or unavailable from time to time due to maintenance, security measures, technical issues, provider changes, integrations, connectivity, user device settings, or circumstances beyond our control. Gestion de Personnel Alliance is not responsible for delays, errors, access limitations, failed transmissions, device issues, third-party outages, or incomplete submissions caused by factors outside its reasonable control. Users remain responsible for promptly communicating with Gestion de Personnel Alliance through approved alternative business channels when application access is unavailable and when a matter is urgent, time-sensitive, payroll-related, safety-related, assignment-related, or compliance-related.
17. Retention and Destruction
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, to manage the user, candidate, employee, client, or employment relationship, to meet Quebec privacy, CNESST, labour standards, occupational health and safety, contractual, accounting, payroll, tax, regulatory, audit, dispute resolution, staffing agency, client, and business record obligations, and to protect our legitimate interests. When personal information is no longer required, we will securely destroy, delete, or anonymize it in accordance with our internal retention practices and applicable law.
18. Account Closure and Continued Retention
If a user account is closed, deactivated, suspended, or no longer active, Gestion de Personnel Alliance may continue to retain personal information where necessary for employment, staffing, payroll, tax, CNESST, occupational health and safety, client, insurance, legal, contractual, audit, dispute resolution, investigation, recordkeeping, security, fraud prevention, or legitimate business purposes. Account closure does not automatically require immediate deletion of information where retention is permitted or required.
19. Minors
Our application is intended for individuals who are legally eligible to apply for work, accept assignments, interact with Gestion de Personnel Alliance, or represent a client or organization. Where information about a minor is collected in connection with employment, student employment, internship, work authorization, emergency contact, legal compliance, payroll, or related operational purposes, it will be handled in accordance with applicable requirements and only where necessary.
20. User Rights
Subject to applicable law, internal verification, legal exceptions, application security requirements, and identity confirmation, users may request access to their personal information, correction of inaccurate or incomplete information, withdrawal of consent where applicable, information about how their personal information is used or disclosed, and, where legally required, portability of certain personal information in a structured and commonly used technological format. Gestion de Personnel Alliance may refuse, limit, or defer a request where permitted by law, including where disclosure would affect the rights of another person, reveal confidential business information, compromise application security, compromise an investigation, create serious practical difficulty, conflict with legal, CNESST, client, payroll, staffing, or contractual obligations, or interfere with our ability to manage employment, staffing, payroll, scheduling, attendance, compliance, CNESST, or dispute-related records. Requests will be handled within the timelines required by applicable privacy legislation.
21. Accuracy of Information
Users are responsible for providing accurate, complete, lawful, current, and up-to-date personal information through our application and for promptly updating or notifying us of any changes that may affect eligibility, availability, assignment placement, schedule confirmation, attendance, payroll, work authorization, tax treatment, communication, transportation or logistics coordination where applicable, CNESST, client, staffing, or compliance requirements. Gestion de Personnel Alliance may verify information provided, request supporting documentation, correct or update records, and retain verification records where necessary for privacy, legal, CNESST, client, payroll, staffing, compliance, or operational purposes.
22. Cross-Border Processing and Service Providers
Personal information submitted through our application may be processed, stored, or accessed by service providers located in Quebec, elsewhere in Canada, the United States, or other jurisdictions, depending on the applications, hosting environments, integrations, and providers used to support our operations. When we use service providers, we take reasonable steps to ensure that personal information is protected through contractual, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information and the services provided.
23. Confidentiality Incidents
If we become aware of a confidentiality incident involving personal information, we will assess the situation, take reasonable steps to reduce the risk of harm, document the incident, and notify affected individuals and competent authorities when required by applicable law.
24. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our application, operations, legal obligations, security practices, privacy procedures, technology providers, integrations, or business requirements. The updated version will be made available through our application or by another appropriate method. Continued use of our application after an updated Policy is made available means that the user acknowledges the updated terms, subject to applicable law.
